Birdies for Cures is an IRS 501(c)(3) non profit organization, whose mission is to create awareness and raise money for the fight against cancer! We are excited to announce the Second Annual Birdies for Cures Golf Classic will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013. This will be an event full of great golf, plenty of laughs, and an experience to look forward to every year! The event will be held at the beautiful Hilton Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, IL.
More importantly, the net proceeds from this event will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude has been finding cures for children's cancer since 1962. It is the only pediatric research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. We recommend you reserve your spot in the tournament early, as it is sure to fill up fast! How many birdies will you make in the fight against cancer?™

Our Founders

Birdies for Cures was founded in 2011 by Kort McCulley and Eric "Pete" Kingdon. Their goal was to develop an organization that uses the great pastime of golf to raise money and awareness towards the fight against cancer. Cancer has impacted all of us in one way or another, and until a cure is reached the fight must continue! Though we are a new organization, Kort and Eric have a vision to develop Birdies for Cures into a driving force in the philanthropic community.
Birdies for Cures needs your help in the fight against cancer. There are several different ways to get involved; whether it is playing, sponsorship, volunteering, or helping us with fundraising, we need your help!
However, one of the most important things you can do is donate your time! We need help the day of the event and dedicated individuals to help us in our fundraising efforts. Remember, every dollar counts to help us make an impact in the fight against cancer. Other ways to donate are through sponsorship, or just making a donation through our paypal account(coming soon). Remember, we are IRS 501(c)(3) organization so all donations are tax deductible.
